  • The Old Hall Hotel located on The Square, dates back to 1573 where Mary Queen of Scots famously stayed
  • Further along The Square, No.6 Tea Rooms is housed in this beautiful Georgian building (1803 – 1806)
  • Across the road from The Square is the very steep Hall Bank, lined with Victorian era town houses
  • The Burlington Hotel (1874, first house at the bottom of Hall Bank) became The Savoy in 1905 and is now private flats
