Pavilion Tea Rooms:  Serving coffee & cake daily and a limited lunch menu from Thursday – Sunday.

Pavilion Kitchen: Offering a takeaway service serving pizzas, hot/cold drinks, hot and cold snacks and a selection of cakes.

Gallery in the Gardens: Gallery in the Gardens features the creative works of 45 local artists makers who are all members of the High Peak Artists group.

Forest Gin, The Little Shop and Forest Gin Garden: Closed for Winter.

Miniature Train: Closed for Winter.

Boats on Boating Lake: Closed for Winter.

Lakeside Kiosk: Closed for Winter.

Kinders Garden Little Shop of Flowers: Open daily 10am – 4pm, located inside the Conservatory.

Conservatory: Free entry. The fish are waiting to say hello!

Public toilets: The Car Park toilets open daily 9am – 5pm. Main building toilets are open daily from 9.30am.

Dating back to 1871, nestled in 23 acres of gardens with water features, lakes and miniature railway.

Pavilion Kitchen offers casual dining, ideal for families including light snacks, freshly made pizza, hot and cold drinks, ice-cream and more.

Ice Cream Parlour offers more than 24 flavours of ice cream!

Outdoor seating area with picnic tables.

Gallery in the Gardens (located in the Gift Boutique) showcases 40 local artist’s works and members of High Peak Artists group.

Boating Lake with rowing boats and pedalos. Check their website for the latest opening times and prices.

Tourist Information is now available at the Buxton Visitor Centre in the The Pump Room, near The Crescent, where knowledgable staff can offer local tourist information about Buxton, the High Peak and Peak District area.

There is a year round programme of events of markets, fairs and children’s activities as well as special events during Easter, summer and at Christmas.

Parking is available on site at the 270 space parking bay located on the corner of St. John’s Road and Burlington Road. Please note that the under section of the car park closes and is locked between the hours of 6:00pm and 8:00am. Cars wishing to be released after 6pm and before 8am will incur a charge. There are eight disabled car parking bays on the ground level of the car park.

Coach parking: Pavilion Gardens allows coaches to drop their passengers off on the Promenade by prior arrangement. Coach parking is available on Burlington Road (SK17 9AY). Coaches can also park on the Promenade provided that they have arranged this prior to visiting. Additionally the Sylvan Coach park is situated off the roundabout at the intersection of the A6/A53. Inflatable Fun Time in the Octagon

“Bramhall’s Amusements” Children’s Inflatable Fun is returns to the Octagon for the February half term holiday

(Last session on Friday 12-2pm)

Entry / Cost: Sessions £5 per child (Aged 1 – 11 years), Adults – free. Only one adult per child/group of children due to limited capacity. Advance booking is essential.

Weekend Bazaar

Some of the products you can expect to find are jewellery and handmade fashion accessories, gifts, plants and gardening products, award winning painters and photographers, books and second hand items.

Artist and Designer Fair

Local Artists and creators are a huge part of the Pavilion Gardens and there is no better place for artists to showcase their talents at one of these popular fairs.

Some of the products you can expect to find are art, painting and photography, jewellery and accessories, ceramics and textiles, stained glass, original and unique designs and garden ornaments.

Toy Fair

The long-running Toy Fair is back in the Octagon Hall. The Buxton Toy Collectors Fair sees the fair packed full with 150 stalls selling all kinds of toys, trains and models.

The dealers who take stalls at the show travel from all over the country and bring with them a huge selection of new and old collectable’s to sell. Prices start from just £1 and can run up to several hundred pounds for the very rarest items.

Collectors of die-cast models can find plenty of variety at Buxton. D.M. Promotional Models, Dalesman Die-cast and others all offer a huge selection of Corgi, Vanguards, Tekno, EFE, Lledo, Minichamps and other die-cast models – with many at bargain prices.

Easter Extravaganza

The Easter Extravaganza is their first seasonal event spanning all 4 days over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend and offering a great weekend of fun for the whole family.

There will be over 40 stalls in the Octagon Hall and on the Promenade, Hot and Cold food stalls, Children’s Rides* and the Miniature Train*.

*Charges apply for some activities. Note: Some activities will be weather permitting

Roller Skating Disco

Roller Disco in the Pavilion Gardens Octagon. Hosted by J T Events with disco lighting and a live DJ playing all your favourite tunes from 9.30am each day, 5 sessions per day! Skate hire available or bring your own.

H&H will be returning to the Octagon Hall at the Pavilion Gardens in Buxton in 2022. The venue has become synonymous with H&H to their most loyal clientele dating back to their first auction in 1993. Buxton Wool Gathering

Join us at the Pavilion Gardens, Buxton for a weekend of all things woolly! We’re a wool festival dedicated to the best of yarn, knitting & crochet in the gateway to the Peak District.

Over 50 exhibitors selling: hand dyed yarns & fibres; wheels & spindles; needles & hooks; kits, patterns & books; gifts & accessories; raw fleeces; and much more!

Annual Buxton Antiques Fair

The hugely 56th Annual Buxton Decorative Antiques & Art Fair is set to return to Buxton!

High quality works of art and period furniture have always distinguished the fair in it’s past fifty one years and, once again, the famous Pavilion venue will be transformed into a sumptuous palace of rare and valuable treasures.
