The Pavilion Tea Room overlook the promenade with lovely views over the gardens and the tea rooms are split over two levels including a bar, lounge area with sofas, comfy chairs and stunning floral barriers dividing the Pavilion Kitchen and the Tea Rooms.
With a traditional vintage feel, the tea room offers a more formal dining experience offering breakfast, lunch, a children’s menu, traditional Afternoon Tea, fresh coffees and a range of teas.
Local suppliers are used for most of the menu including the hugely popular Buxton Roastery Coffee for their coffee beans. The Tea Room and Pavilion Gardens can be hired for private functions and are an ideal venue to hold a variety of events including conferences, birthday parties and weddings – for further details please contact the site.
Further plans for 2020 include creating an in-house bakery, outdoor eating areas and a range of new events.
For more casual dining or food on the go, try the Pavilion Kitchen, adjacent to the Tea Rooms; serving street food style dishes and freshly pizza made to order, as well as a range of other hot dishes, sandwiches, snacks and hot and cold drinks.
During your visit here don’t miss the Retail Hall and Gallery in the Gardens, packed with a wide range of gifts, art and crafts, local food and drink, Cheese Tasting daily and a gin shop. Take home a real taste of the Peak District and a keepsake of your visit.
Miniature Train is just a short stroll away – ideal for families.
