Since 1868, the Palace Hotel Buxton & Spa has been a prominent building in the stunning spa town of Buxton. Situated in over five acres of stunning landscaped gardens, it has now become one of the most prestigious venues in the region, perfectly situated on the edge of the Peak District National Park, and easily accessible for visitors from all over the UK including Manchester, Nottingham, Sheffield and Stoke-on-Trent.
When you step over the threshold, you’ll quickly discover the history of the building itself. Suddenly you are transported back in time, some 150 years ago. You’ll see historic characteristics as you explore. The gorgeous Victorian grandeur is sure to provide the most elegant backdrop to your stay.
Conveniently located adjacent to the railway station and just a five minute walk to Buxton Opera House and Pavilion Arts Centre (formerly Buxton Cinema), Pavilion Gardens, Cavendish Shopping Arcade and Springs Shopping Centre off Spring Gardens in the town centre.
The hotel also features a health and leisure club (small fee applies) with an indoor pool, gym, spa, sauna and steam rooms.
Beauty Rooms: Whether it’s an aromatherapy body massage or a Jessica Deluxe Manicure, they have something on offer for everyone. Dovedale Restaurant serves a full English breakfast each morning with lighter options too. Dinner is available every evening offering a selection of dishes to choose from. Lunch is also an option on weekends. The Lounge Bar is open throughout the week offering a wide choice of beverages and snacks.
