Collagraph Plates and Printing (8th June 2024)

Collagraph Plates and Printing – Saturday 22 April 2023, Full day workshop

A collagraph print is similar to an etching. The plate is made up of collage, a variety of materials which have been glued onto a firm plate. The plate is then inked using the intaglio method, leaving the recessions or indentations to hold the ink so that it will print when passed through the press with dampened paper. There is always a lovely surprise when the paper is lifted from the plate to reveal the results. The workshop runs from 10am – 4pm. Cost is £100 per person. Most materials and lunch is provided with refreshments and biscuits served all day. Find out more/book here.
