The Chakra Lounge in Buxton is an explosion of colour and aromas with a menu that blends exotic flavours of Eastern culture with more well-known, favourite dishes from the West. Bringing two unique culinary heritages together, the menu is ingredient focused and flavour packed.
Centrally located, lounge away the day in Buxton’s one-of-a-kind favourite Indian Café!
Dishes include curries, rice and noodle bowls, fish dishes and light bites and snacks. The breakfast menu is served all day including their now famous ‘If Indians Did It’, full breakfast. Other breakfast dishes include Bombay Benedict, Super Egg Bowl, Pancake Stack and more.
There is an extensive range of gluten free, vegan and vegetarian dishes across the menu.
Produce for ingredients are always sourced locally where at all possible.
Coffee served is Peak Bean Coffee – roasted in the Peak District with a specially produced Chakra Expresso Blend on offer. Fresh ground coffee is also for sale to buy and take away. A selection of teas, including herbal blends are available which include tea from the Buxton based Vintage Teas.

There’s a selection of board games and a book exchange so you can make yourself at home during your visit.
They also have shops in Sheffield and Bakewell. Bakewell serves exclusively a vegan menu.
