Entry / Cost: Session entry prices £6.50 per person plus £2 for skate hire if required (unless you are bringing your own skates), Toddler skate entry £5 entry £2 skate hire, Family deals – 10% off entry price for families of 3, 4 & 5. Spectators are free of charge.

Regular Skate Session (Fortnightly)
When: 13th April 2024, 2pm – 3.30pm and every fortnight after unless otherwise advertised; we will add any changes to this page and share on social media/in our newsletter.
Regular skate sessions beginning again fortnight, suitable for all the family to enjoy!
Where: Buxton Community School
Protective pad hire is also available free of charge including wrist bands, knee and elbow pads and helmets. There are limited so if you are unsure please call before the session and we can reserve a seat for you.
Roller Energy are the leading mobile Roller Disco organisation in Derbyshire, founded in 2016 by a group of people with a shared love of roller skating & music.
We run regular, weekly mobile Roller Disco sessions at various locations across the High Peak and Derbyshire and have entertained hundreds of children and adults alike since their inception.Our roller disco’s are a high energy combination of roller skating, thumping beats and awesome lighting shows. Every session has a dedicated beginners area where you can safely learn the basics of roller skating from our experienced instructors. Once you have gained confidence you will be able to join the main section of the rink, where the fun really starts!

In terms of roller skate hire, we have traditional quad type roller skates and also inline skates available from Junior size 8 up to Adult size 12. We also have sets of pads available to hire free of charge in both kids and adults sizes.
Every session features our own resident DJ spinning a selection of the freshest chart and dance tracks along with classics spanning all genres from the 80’s to the 2000’s.
Regular Roller Energy events take place at Buxton Community School.
We also provide birthday parties, school and college events, fundraisers, private hire and more!
We aim to offer the best experience in terms of skate quality and choice (quads and blades all sizes from junior to adult), the latest and best music, awesome lighting effects, skating games and more, all in a fun, safe and well supervised environment.
We have a variety of games including; speed skating, British bulldog and the limbo, which are awesome fun and will also help to increase your confidence and ability on wheels. We can also teach you how to do tricks including; backwards skating, jumps, advanced stopping (slides), ramp skating & more.
You do not need to book for our regular sessions, however skates are limited at our busier sessions so please arrive early to avoid disappointment.
Lessons: Learn to skate with Roller Energy – our friendly and professional coaches will have you up on your skates and gliding around the rink before you know it! Due to popular demand, we will be running learn to skate bootcamps during the half term holidays. We are also currently searching for a Saturday morning venue to run lessons. so if you have somewhere near you in mind, please get in touch!
