Join community group Buxton Sparkles for their famous annual Lantern Parade in Buxton on Saturday 18th November at 6pm! Walk and sing along Broad Walk and through the Pavilion Gardens getting back in time for the big Christmas Lights Switch on at 7pm at Turners memorial.
Free lantern making workshops
Make your very own magical lantern for the parade! It takes around just 30 – 34 minutes and two FREE workshops take place. You don’t need to have children to have a go either, everyone is welcome. Fully accessible, cash Donations welcome (small charge for LEDs):
Saturday 11th November, 10am-3pm at the United Reform Church, Hardwick Square West.
Wednesday 15th November, 5.30pm-7.30pm at The Pump Room, opposite the Crescent (Buxton Visitor Centre).
