The Tap House is our flagship venue, bringing great beer and food to Buxton since 2013.
Located on George Street in the town centre, directly behind the 5-star Buxton Crescent Hotel, we serve a wide range of our beers on cask and keg, as well as cider, wine, spirits and soft drinks for the non-beer drinkers.
If our draught list isn’t enough for you we also have cans and bottles available to drink in or take away.
For food, Head Chef, Dan sources the finest ingredients within 10 miles of Buxton to create a diverse menu featuring pub classics as well as unique dishes. Love and the utmost attention is given to each plate, honouring the beautiful ingredients and ensuring you enjoy every bite.
Buxton Opera House located just a few minutes away so it’s the ideal spot the for pre / post theatre food and drinks.
We regularly host live music during the weekends.
All of the beers the brewery produces are designed to delight the senses and enthral the drinker. Not all beers are created equal, some are big and strong and full of powerful hops and malts, others are lighter, and have subtle nuances of flavour and aroma. All are intended to be enjoyed as a lovingly hand made product, nurtured by a small team of dedicated beer lovers.

Buxton Brewery Bars
Buxton Brewery run three other bars in and around Buxton.
Sock and Buskin is a cocktail bar also located in the Old Court House, serving up handcrafted drinks made with bespoke S&B London Dry Gin. Alongside its cocktails, the bar offers a carefully chosen selection of elegant wines – many organic, biodynamic or natural – all available by the glass. A food menu is also served daily, making it a great spot to catch a pre or post theatre drink or a bite to eat.
Meanwhile, the Buxton Brewery Shop & Bar in the Pavilion Gardens offers brewery merchandise alongside four keg beers, with a cosy indoor lounge and plenty of outdoor seating along the promenade.
Buxton Brewery Trackside located in Harpur Hill on the outskirts of Buxton is just a stone’s throw from the brewery itself; this is the place where our beers taste their freshest, poured straight from the source. Whether you’re a lifelong Buxton local or visiting the Peaks for the weekend, Trackside has arguably the best beer garden in Buxton!

Buxton Brewery Shop in Springs Shopping Centre: Our flagship retail venue, stocked full of Buxton Brewery Beer and merchandise, as well as other amazing produce by local suppliers. A haven for beer enthusiasts and a one stop shop for the microbrewery.
