Are you looking for half-term ideas for things to do with family? There’s five days of family fun during half term 30th October – 3rd November 2023 at Crich Tramway Village in the Peak District!
Join in the half term party show!
There’s a jam packed programme of events all week including creative activities, storytelling and entertainment.
As usual, visitors to the village can always enjoy unlimited rides on the vintage trams. If you need a breather, stretch your legs on the Woodland Walk Sculpture Trail and Rita’s Tea Rooms and the Red Lion Pub will be open as usual serving refreshments.
Brand new for 2023, Notice this Notice are proud to present ‘Dickens Ghost Stories!’ Expect some spooky Victorian tales (with the usual twist of Notice this Notice nonsense) adapted from some of Charles Dickens’ chilling short stories, brought to life with all the eccentricity and energy of the great Charlie himself. The show is suitable for the whole family and, although there may be some spooky moments, it is designed to be accessible for all ages.
Events programme for the week:
Notice this Notice present ‘Dickens Ghost Stories!’ Shows at 11.30am,12.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm. Running time approx. 20-30 minutes.
Face painting for the children each day 11am – 1.00pm and 2.00pm – 4.00pm.
Crafts – including: Monday – Ghosts / Tuesday – Spiders on a stick / Wednesday & Thursday – Owls / Friday – Snowmen
Puppet shows with Pinxton Puppets Wed / Thu / Fri 11.30am, 1pm and 3pm.
Storyteller on a Tram Wed / Thu / Fri – Stories at 12pm, 12.30pm, 1pm, 2pm, 2.30pm and 3.00pm.
Woodies Wings (Parrot and Owl Rescue) each day at the Bandstand.
Entry / Cost: Standard entry full price tickets / 12 month return tickets (T&C’s apply): Adults: £22, Seniors (60+) £19.50, Children (aged 4 – 15) £14, Family (2 adults / 3 children or 1 adult 4 children) £49.50
