Buxton Opera House has been shortlisted in two categories at the Lots for Tots Awards 2026, celebrating its continued commitment to providing outstanding experiences for families and young audiences.
The venue has been nominated for Customer Excellence of the Year and Local Family Attraction of the Year.
At the heart of every performance is the Opera House’s dedicated Front of House team. Supported by more than 130 local volunteers, they work tirelessly to provide a warm, inclusive and professional welcome to every visitor. From helping families find their seats to ensuring first-time theatre-goers feel comfortable and at home, the team plays a vital role in creating a positive experience for all who walk through the doors.
The Lots for Tots Awards celebrate the very best family-friendly attractions, businesses and services across Derbyshire, with winners decided by public vote. Local supporters, families and theatre-goers are encouraged to cast their votes and help Buxton Opera House achieve success in both categories.
How to Vote
Voting open until 21st January 2026, offering the community an opportunity to show their support for one of Buxton’s much-loved cultural landmarks and its role in delivering memorable experiences for local families and visitors alike.
