Santa’s Grotto at Poole’s Cavern 2025
Due to huge demand, Santa’s Grotto at Poole’s Cavern has now sold out for 2025 – but the festive fun is far from over!
Families can still enjoy the magic of Christmas with two NEW enchanting experiences for this year: Mrs Clause – making her debut appearance this Christmas at the cavern and Santa Paws – where for the first time dogs can meet Santa in his festive grotto.
NEW for 2025! Santa Paws
This year, Santa’s spreading the Christmas cheer to our four-legged friends! For the very first time, dogs can meet Santa in his festive grotto during Santa Paws. Each pooch will receive a special treat and an “ELFIE” photo moment – so bring your phone and capture the fun!
After meeting Santa, you and your furry companion can enjoy exploring the magical cave, beautifully lit for the festive season.

NEW for 2025! Mrs Claus’ Grotto
If you missed out on Santa’s Grotto, Mrs Clause is making her debut appearance in Poole’s Cavern this Christmas! Step into her magical grotto to meet Mrs Claus and Santa’s elves, where every child receives a lovely, age-appropriate gift and time for photos in this festive setting.
After your visit, wander through the illuminated cavern – a breathtaking underground light trail sure to leave the whole family enchanted.

Christmas Light Walk-Throughs
For those who simply want to soak up the festive atmosphere, Christmas Light Walk-Throughs offer the chance to explore Poole’s Cavern at your own pace. Wander through the 2-million-year-old limestone cave, transformed with dazzling lights and magical projections – a breathtaking experience for the whole family.

After your visit, stop by the Café in the Cavern for delicious light lunches, breakfasts, drinks, snacks, and daily specials.
