Split over two levels (ground floor and mezzanine) including a bar and restaurant area, they offer a children’s menu and a range of hot and cold sandwiches alongside their main dishes as well as serving fresh coffees and a range of teas; you’ll also find some very tempting desserts.

Traditional Afternoon Tea: with a variety of delicious and homemade finger sandwiches, scones with cream jam and butter and a selection of miniature cakes and macaroons. You can choose from a freshly ground coffee or specialty tea to accompany your Afternoon Tea. For an added fee you can upgrade your hot drink to a glass of Prosecco instead. This can be done either on the day or via booking. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and children’s options are available. Please make the team aware when booking of any preference or allergies. Local suppliers are used for most of the menu including the Buxton Roastery Coffee for their coffee beans.

The Restaurant and Bar can be hired for private functions and is an ideal venue to hold a variety of events including conferences, birthday parties and weddings – for further details please contact the site (contact details above).

For more casual dining or food on the go, try the Pavilion Kitchen, adjacent to the Restaurant and Bar; with canteen style seating they serve street food style dishes and freshly pizza made to order, as well as a range of other hot dishes, sandwiches, snacks and hot and cold drinks. There’s also a small soft play area here for small children.

During your visit here don’t miss the Retail Hall, also home to Buxton Brewery Shop & Bar as well as Gallery in the Gardens, packed with a wide range of gifts, original art and crafts and local food and beers. Take home a real taste of the Peak District and a keepsake of your visit!

The Miniature Train is just a short stroll away – ideal for families.
