Beneath a canopy of twinkling lights, the Palace Hotel Christmas Artisan Market will bring together some of the finest artisans from the local area in a beautifully curated event like no other.
Taking place across the weekend of 17th – 19th November 2023, in the grandeur of recently refurbished function rooms at the hotel, visitors will be treated to a visual feast of artisan food and drink producers as well as handpicked curated gifts and work by local artists and craftspeople.
A cornucopia of festive stalls, this is the perfect opportunity to find a one-of-a-kind Christmas gift with a difference.
Shivering Mountain Distillery and Buxton Brewery pour local spirits and ales, warming the soul against the chill. Watch aficionados Derbyshire Vintage Watches bring their timeless treasures, where history adorns the wrist. Tiger Tea Co bring us their aromatic blends of tea. Derbyshire Hand Painted Art provides a splash of colour with their unique creations.
Abigail Rose Embroidery presents her tapestry of intricate designs. Linda’s Art Glass will dazzle with her unique stained glass creations. Lenka Cakes will tempt visitors with magnificent homemade bakes. Berberis House Apiary bring their top quality natural honey and beeswax products.

A tribute to the Peak District and Derbyshire culinary and creative talents, the market will offer a trove of regional treasures, inviting all to indulge in the festive cheer.
“We are looking forward to showcasing these hand picked fabulous artisans from the local area at our first ever Christmas Market at the Palace Hotel. The hotel has seen extensive refurbishment during 2023 – including our stunning ballroom and our function rooms. It’s a beautiful building and the ideal setting for an event like this! If successful, we hope the Christmas Market will take place annually.” said Alison Burnell, Sales Manager.
Entry is free and opening times will be Friday 17th November 4pm – 8pm, Saturday 18th November 10am – 8pm and Sunday 19th November 10am – 2pm.
