NYE Party at the Queen’s Head with Purple Cloud of Funk at The Queen’s Head

Head to The Swan for a fun NYE with live music from BurkNHoff (Ian Burke & Dave Wren) – tonight they’ll be joined by Helen and performing as a 3-piece. Free entry. Usual opening hours will apply – 10am – 1am.
La Gaby (restaurant)
La Gaby is open on NYE all day 12.30pm to 11pm, all groups of 10+ adults get a free bottle of Prosecco.

Jack and the Beanstalk pantomime at Buxton Opera House
The annual pantomime at Buxton Opera House makes a welcome return when it opens on Friday 6th December 2024, this year it’s Jack and the Beanstalk. Are your ready for the usual ‘oh no he isn’t, oh yes he is’?! There’s a New Year’s Eve performance at 1pm. The panto runs until 1st January 2025 2024. Entry / Cost: £19.50 – £28. Lubens – Cosy drinks and a Festive Sharing Board
If you want to be back home for midnight, Lubens are open 11.30am – 9pm for drink (food is served 12 – 7.30pm). They’re serving a delicious ‘Festive Sharing Board’ for Christmas, (alongside their usual sharing boards) which includes all the faves such as pigs in blankets, sliced turkey, stuffing, brie and cranberry parcels, Yorkshire puds and more. New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner at Pavilion Gardens
As the clock winds down on 2024, the Pavilion Gardens Restaurant invites you to kick off your New Year’s Eve celebrations with a lavish three-course meal. Buxton Opera House NYE Gala Concert
One of our most popular nights of the year with the fantastic British Philharmonic Concert Orchestra at Buxton Opera House.
Head along for this special night of music and fun to see out the old year and welcome in 2025. The British Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and guest soloists perform music of all genres from Classical to Musicals, from film music and ballet to popular songs. A fun filled fizzing night of fabulous tunes and a great singalong too. Hold hands for the traditional Auld Lang Syne at midnight and raise the rafters.
Why sit in and watch the telly when you can have lots of fun and sing along to the tunes you know and love and celebrate new year in style with a theatre full of revellers.

Inflatable Fun Time at The Octagon
Inflatable fun time in The Octagon at the Pavilion Gardens! Only one adult per child/group of children due to limited capacity. Advance booking is essential to guarantee entry. 31st December 2024, (two sessions only on NYE – at 9.30am and 12 noon). More sessions are taking place in 2025. Session times vary on other dates. The New Inn – enjoy early doors drinks, food then home!
If you fancy a quieter one on NYE, head to The New Inn; recently re-opened and extensively refurbished, they’re open on NYE from 12 noon until 9pm and they’ll be serving food 12 – 7pm. You can enjoy one their superb cheese/meat platters (amongst other things) before heading home and getting cosy and seeing in the new year in your pj’s.
NYE at The Old Clubhouse
The Old Clubhouse re-opened in November following a major refurbishment, brand new staff and a brand new menu. They’re open until from 12 – 12.30am on NYE and serving food 12 – 8pm, so you can head out for a tasty NYE dinner and see in the new year over a glass of bubbly. Click here for more information.

Palace Hotel New Year’s Eve Gala *SOLD OUT*
Kick-start the New Year celebrations at the Palace Hotel with a red-carpet arrival for a champagne reception before sitting down to a four-course dinner in the High Peak Ballroom.
