In 2024, Explore Buxton was named Online Tourism Guide of the Year 2024 at the Midlands Enterprise Awards. The previous year it received Local Tourism Guide of the Year 2023 – Derbyshire.

SME News announced the 2024 winners in August.

The organiser’s 2024 announcement described it as the eighth year of the Midlands Enterprise Awards.

In the organiser’s announcement, Awards Coordinator Melissa Bramall said: “Working with our winners on SME News’ prestigious Midlands Enterprise Awards has been a marvellous opportunity to learn more, connect with award-winning individuals and teams, and recognise the best of the best in the midlands. I wish all our winners a deeply successful future as they tirelessly dedicate themselves to their missions.”
