Awards coordinator Victoria Cotton praised the 2023 winners.

SME News said its awards were based on merit.

Jen Francis, co-owner of Explore Buxton, said in 2023: “We are thrilled to have been chosen for this award, for the second consecutive year! This achievement would not have been possible without the incredible dedication of our team as well as our customers, partners and businesses we work with and of course our readers.”

“We are truly passionate about Buxton and the Peak District and showcasing local businesses to support our local economy; more important than ever in today’s challenging economic climate. Using digital content to find local information and to explore whats’s on and where to go, has catapulted post-pandemic and businesses have benefitted from this. People want information on the go, in their pocket, on their smart phone. We have seen a huge increase in engagement across all our digital platforms in the last two years. We could not continue without the on-going support of our partners and the local business community, so thank you to everyone”.
