In August, Explore Buxton was thrilled to learn we had been selected as winner of Local Tourism Guide of the Year Derbyshire 2023 at this year’s Midlands Enterprise Awards, for the second year running. SME News announced the full list of winners at the end of August.
Now in its seventh consecutive year, the Midlands Enterprise programme was created to recognise and award those SMEs of all different sizes. They cover a range of businesses and industries that are based within the heartland of the country.
Awards Coordinator Victoria Cotton commented on the success of this year’s winners: “I am extremely pleased to have worked with such ardent individuals and businesses which continuously alter the way the rest of the UK sees the Midlands. I wish them all the best as they continue to shine. Onward and upward. Our winners are strong, unwavering, and full of life, and the businesses and individuals within this year’s awards programme are setting the pace for many developments to come.”
