Hearthside Park Road is ideal for very large family or group gatherings, accommodating up to 28 guests (please see the sleeping arrangements below in the bedroom layout). The property, a newly renovated Victorian building from 1883, consists of three luxury apartments. When booking the entire house, all internal doors will be unlocked for seamless access throughout—please request if you prefer them locked.

This serene central Buxton retreat boasts a private courtyard with a hot tub and this large property is perfect for larger groups. Dogs are warmly welcomed.  The Opera House, Pavilion Gardens, local dining and the town centre are just a short stroll away. Equally the property offers the ideal base for exploring the surrounding countryside.

Our amenities include private parking, satellite internet, and a large smart TV with various streaming options for the whole family.

Each floor features a self-contained apartment with a full-sized kitchen, dining area (for 10 on the first two floors and 8 on the top floor), living room with a large TV, and spacious hallways leading to the bedrooms.

Lud’s Snug – Sleeps 6 guests: 3 bedrooms, 4 beds, 1 bathroom.

Each living room contains a double sofa bed, and we prioritise your comfort with top-quality mattresses and linens. Foldable cots are available upon request; please bring your own linen.

The house has five main bathrooms in addition to the two en-suites:

Each open-plan kitchen, dining, and living space is designed for communal enjoyment. We provide books, games, puzzles, and a large smart TV with Sky and Netflix, surrounded by comfy sofas. The dining tables are perfect for shared meals. High chairs are available upon request – please inform us in advance of your needs.

Relax in the beautifully landscaped communal garden, which includes a bookable patio seating area and BBQ. There’s plenty of lawn space for picnics and fresh air.

The entrance porch offers space for shoe storage, keeping the living areas tidy.

Enjoy a private retreat in the rear courtyard, featuring a hot tub and fire pit, with complimentary outdoor towels provided. Unwind and make the most of your stay.

We offer ample on-site private parking at both the front and rear of the property.

Dogs are very welcome. Please let us know how many you’ll bring so we can prepare a dog bed and bowls for your stay.

As our guest, you’ll have full access to the entire house (all three apartments with open doors), the shared landscaped garden and patio, and the private courtyard with a hot tub.
