Welcome to Hob Hurst, our serene retreat in the heart of Buxton. This spacious and family-friendly apartment features a private hot tub courtyard and warmly welcomes dogs. Conveniently located, you can easily walk to the Opera House, Pavilion Gardens and local dining spots. Equally the property offers the ideal base for exploring the surrounding countryside.

The apartment offers private parking, satellite internet, and a large smart TV with various streaming packages and entertainment for the whole family.

Hob Hurst is perfect for group or family gatherings. It features 4 bedrooms with king-size beds, 3 of which have their own TV. There’s also a double sofa bed in the living room. We’ve chosen top-quality mattresses and linens to ensure a good night’s sleep. Foldable cots are available, please inform us of how many you need in advance. Two bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers, toilets, and sinks. Additionally, there is a full main bathroom with a bath, walk-in shower, toilet, and sink.

The kitchen, dining, and living areas are designed with an open-plan layout, perfect for group/family time together. We provide books, games, and puzzles, and a large smart TV with Sky and Netflix surrounded by comfy sofas and a cosy fireplace. The large dining table, placed in front of bay windows, is ideal for sharing meals. High chairs are available upon request.

The entrance porch offers space to store your shoes, keeping the interior tidy while you relax together.

Our private retreat includes a rear courtyard with a hot tub and fire pit, along with complimentary outdoor towels. So, go ahead, unwind in the hot tub, and make the most of your stay. (Please note if your booking is last minute and within 4 days of your arrival the hot tub will be unavailable due to operational hygiene timeframes).

Enjoy our beautifully landscaped communal garden, perfect for picnics on the lawn and fresh air.

There is ample private parking with 12 spaces available, shared among 4 private apartments.

Dogs are very welcome. Please let us know how many you have so we can prepare a dog bed and bowls for your stay.

Please note that housekeeping may need to access the basement/courtyard area within this apartment.

Guest access: As our guest, you’ll have full access to the ground floor apartment; shared landscaped garden and patio; and private rear external courtyard with hot tub.
