The annual Great Dome Art Fair is back, promising a weekend of awe-inspiring creativity and artistic exploration on the 19th, 20th and 21st July, 2024. Hosted by the esteemed Peak District Artisans, this flagship event transforms the spectacular Devonshire Dome in Buxton into a vibrant hub of artistic expression.

Live demonstrations throughout the three-day event
Engage first-hand with artists as they showcase their craft through live demonstrations throughout the three-day event. Delve deeper into the creative process and a gain one-to-one insight into their artistry.
Everything you see at the exhibition is available to buy, so visitors can purchase original artworks after witnessing their craft firsthand.
Featuring a diverse array of mediums, including printmaking, jewellery, weaving, ceramics, woodcarving and much more, the fair showcases the breadth and depth of talent within the Peak District Artisans group. Both established artists and emerging talents will grace the stalls, offering something for everyone’s taste.
Postcard Raffle returns in support of Blythe House Hospice
A beloved tradition of the Great Dome Art Fair, the Postcard Raffle, returns once again this year with a charitable twist. All exhibiting artists will submit a piece and the display itself is magnificent.
Attendees can purchase tickets for the Postcard Raffle for the chance to win miniature works of art while supporting the local charity, Blythe House Hospicecare.
100% of the raffle ticket sales will be donated to the charity; Blythe House Hospicecare and Helen’s Trust provide free hospice care and support to people across the High Peak, Hope Valley, Derbyshire Dales and North East Derbyshire who are affected by life-limiting illness and bereavement.
New for 2024 – unique artist collaborations
With a focus on innovation and collaboration, 2024 brings a new highlight: artists working in different media have shared their skills to create unique pieces of work.
The concept of PDA members sharing skills, through collaboration, was first suggested by ceramic artist, Vivienne Sillar.
The collaborations artists will be:
