Immerse yourself in a spectacular weekend event on Saturday 7th (10am – 6pm) and Sunday 8th October (10am – 5pm) 2023 that embraces the very essence of all things Peak District. A signature annual event, the Great Peak District Fair and Buxton Beer Festival celebrates all things local.
Local artisans and makers from around the Peak District
Discover an array of local artisans and makers showcasing their unique, handcrafted Peak District products and produce, with over 40 stalls in The Octagon Hall. The variety of independent artists and producers will include photography, artworks, jewellery, ceramics, glassware and more.
Experience an array of award winning cask ales
Experience award winning cask ales, beer and cider from around the region at the Pavilion Gardens Buxton Beer Festival.
Children’s activities and street food stalls
As ever, the promenade will feature street food and drink stalls championing local food vendors, with flavours on offer from across the globe.
The popular two-day event can enjoyed by all the family each day with children’s entertainment including magic shows, *children’s rides and *miniature train.
Live music across the weekend
Enjoy live music across the weekend: On Saturday local singer/songwriter Nancy Brookes performs at 2pm – 3.30pm, followed by Ted Fischer 4PM – 6PM. On Sunday, enjoy the unique sounds of ever popular Pantonic All Stars Steel Orchestra Band, 12 noon – 4pm.
