If you’re searching for a flexible, welcoming, and well-equipped venue in the heart of Buxton, look no further than Buxton Methodist Church. Centrally located on Buxton Market Place, the church offers a range of superb room hire facilities perfect for a wide variety of events—from workshops, meetings, training and support groups to concerts parties, and exercise classes.
Four distinct spaces available to hire:

The Church, with outstanding acoustics, a PA system, and a grand piano (available at an additional cost)—ideal for concerts and performances.

The Main Hall, which can host up to 100 people and is perfect for larger gatherings or training events.

The Lower Room on the ground floor and the Upper Room on the second floor – great for smaller groups, meetings, or classes.
Each room comes with chairs, tables, and tea/coffee-making facilities. You can hire rooms for one-off events such as birthday parties or on a regular basis.
A superbly equipped modern kitchen is also available to hire separately, complete with an adjacent seating area—perfect for events requiring catering. The building features a mix of modern facilities, including level access to three of the four rooms, accessible toilets, hearing loops, and baby changing amenities.
Getting there is easy, with accessible entrances via ramps from the Market Place or step-free access from Chapel Street. Pay and Display parking is available nearby with parking on the Market Place or The Slopes and Market Street car parks. Public transport is made easy with bus stops just across the road.
Hire is available Monday to Saturday, 8am–10pm, and rates start at just £21 per hour:

Whole building – £110 for the first two hours, £77/hour thereafter
