An Evening With John’s Boys at Buxton Opera House

Experience the unforgettable sound of Johns’ Boys Welsh Male Choir as The Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalists embark on their 2024 UK Tour and perform in Buxton Opera House.

The choir recently appeared on The Royal Variety show and have also released their debut single ‘Biblical’ which went straight to number one in the ITUNES Classical charts!

Most decorated British male choir in history

Johns’ Boys Welsh Male Choir from Wrexham, North Wales is one of the most decorated British male choirs in history. The choir have won numerous choral competitions and in 2019 became the first British Male Voice Choir to win the prestigious Pavarotti ‘Choir of the World’ prize at the Llangollen International music festival. They have made numerous TV appearances, including The Last Night of the Proms, The Royal Variety Show and the Netflix blockbuster drama Stay Close.

Britain’s Got Talent Semi Finalists

Many fans, however, will be more familiar with Johns’ Boys from their very recent exploits on Britain’s Got Talent. Performing Calum Scott’s Biblical, they entranced the judges with their virtuosic vocals, eliciting a standing ovation from both the judges and audience. John’s’ Boys received a resounding ‘Yes!’ from each judge, enabling them to progress to the live semi-finals.



Fresh interpretations on well known classics

Johns’ Boys brings a groundbreaking modern twist to the traditional Welsh Male Voice Choir. Enjoy breathtaking covers of Calum Scott’s Biblical and Harry Styles’ Falling as well as fresh interpretations on well known classics, including their captivating version of the famous Welsh hymn tune ‘Calon Lan’.

Performing in theatres across Great Britain

They are in great demand on the concert platform performing in prestigious theaters throughout Great Britain including The Apollo, Hammersmith, The Royal Albert Hall, London, Birmingham Symphony Hall Birmingham and the Millennium Theatre Cardiff. The choir regularly sings in the Principality Stadium for Welsh Rugby Union home international games.
