Solomon’s Temple / Grin Low
Solomon’s Temple offers gentle slopes as well as steeper runs perfect for families – you can choose your own pace! The area is spacious, but does have bumps along the way, so watch out for the uneven terrain. You’ll also be rewards with some of the best views over Buxton and the Peak District at the summit.
Corbar Hill
Offering a steeper incline, Corbar Hill is suited for those looking for an adrenaline rush. The breathtaking views of Buxton from the top at Corbar Cross make every trip back up the hill worthwhile.

Right in the centre of Buxton, The Slopes offers a convenient and accessible sledging location with a variety of fairly steep gradients. Its central location makes it extremely popular, especially for spontaneous sledging sessions after a fresh snowfall so expect it to get busy.
