Originally owned by the Duke of Devonshire, this Grade II listed barn conversion is one of Buxton’s oldest buildings, dating back to the 16th century. Lavender Cottage (part of the Hawthorn Farm Bed & Breakfast) offers comfortable self catering accommodation with two double bedrooms and one double/twin room – all with their own en-suite bathrooms, sleeping up to six people.

Full of character and charm with exposed beams and stone, the fabulous open plan living area can be found upstairs.

Log burner for cooler nights to enjoy a cosy night in.

There is a fully fitted and well equipped kitchen/diner with everything you need for cooking and the spacious open plan lounge has plenty of seating.

The cottage is ideal for a group or family and can accommodate up to six guests.

There is private parking for guests for up to to three cars.

Buxton town centre, Springs Shopping Centre, Waitrose and several visitor attractions such as Buxton Opera HousePavilion GardensDevonshire Dome SpaDiscover Buxton Tours and Buxton Museum & Art Gallery are all within easy walking distance – approximately 10 minutes.
