Georgian Buxton Festival 2026
When: 21st – 27th September 2026
In 2026, the focus will shift to exploring broader dimensions of Georgian and Regency life: from architecture, literature, fashion and music to the social and political currents of the era.
What to expect (provisional highlights):
- Regency and Georgian workshops
- Workshops with Hand and Lock Embroidery throughout the week (workshops starting on the Monday).
- Expert talks and discussions
- Guided historic walks and themed promenades.
- Living-history demonstrations and period crafts
- The Cavendish Ceilidh and the Regency Ball in the elegant Assembly Rooms of the Crescent
- Exhibitions and displays in the Pump Room and the Crescent
- Historic Market
- Afternoon Tea and Talks
