About Busy Little Monsters Role Play Village
Busy Little Monsters Role Play Village is a perfectly sized tiny town including a salon, café, supermarket, vets, construction site, police station, nursery and village green complete with ice cream stand and soft play features.
This bright and beautiful role play village has been lovingly designed by a former primary school teacher to encourage the imaginations of inquisitive and curious children as they explore, discover and play. The aim is to offer a welcoming, educational and sensory-stimulating environment which provides the opportunity for all children to engage in imaginative and creative play time.
The village is purpose-built for children up to 7 years. Steady, confident walkers will love exploring all that the busy village has to offer, while young babies can access the immersive sensory room, full of lights, textures and sounds to delight the youngest of little monsters.
From babies to the end of Key Stage 1 (infant school), children will be inspired to play creatively and imaginatively, developing fine motor skills and problem-solving, while being encouraged to talk about their learning along the way.
Our soft-play features allow children to explore their adventurous side, encouraging balance, strength and coordination while also learning the importance of turn-taking.
Children can enjoy ‘real life’ situations through role play and play pretend as any of the roles in the brightly coloured and wonderful little village – and it’s all at their perfect size and scale.

In line with the EYFS curriculum, Holly loves to encourage Talk for Learning to support children’s language development.
Parents can expect the highest standard of toys and equipment, to provide the best opportunity for quality imaginative play as well as being a safe environment for your children to enjoy.
Enjoy hot drinks, snacks and cakes (subject to availability) from our micro-café. Vegan and gluten free options available. Decaff coffees, decaff tea and plant-based milk always available.
Sensory Room Hire

What’s on for Older Monsters?
As well as weekend play sessions for children up to 7 years, we also offer Ukulele Club on Mondays at 4.15pm – 5pm for ages 5 to 11 years and a variety of Craft Parties for children aged 4 to 11 years. Please see our booking page for themes and availability.
Birthday Parties (Up to 15 children. Max age 7 years)
Why not spend your birthday with us? Busy Little Monsters would love to host your party for up to 15 children aged 7 years and under. With a Busy Little Monsters birthday party, you are guaranteed exclusive use of the venue for you and your guests. Bring your own party food – We provide juice, cups, plates, tables and chairs. The birthday child receives a birthday card and a free session voucher. We’ll even create your PDF invitations.
With so much to choose from: play village parties, music and sensory parties, train track parties, themed crafty parties and disco parties.
Monsters Rock! Pop Star recording parties for ages 7 up to adults.
Parties are available on Saturdays and Sundays at various times to suit you.

Activities for SEN Adults
We are proud to offer a range of activities for adults with SEN. Our sensory room is available to book for adults and their carers, on a one-to-one basis, via the website. Our larger front room can be transformed into a larger sensory area and hired by request for groups of up to 10 adults.
The SENsory Cafe: Activities for adults with SEN and their carers. Crafts, gentle music sessions and games events with hot and cold drinks, snacks and cakes available.
