As Buxton’s only dedicated bridal and occasion wear boutique, Blossoms offers a thoughtfully curated collection of wedding and prom dresses, with private, one-to-one appointments that place personal service at the centre of every visit.
With dresses to suit every style, shape and budget, Blossoms makes finding the perfect gown feel easy and enjoyable. Whether you love classic looks or modern designs, the boutique offers a calm, welcoming place to discover your dress.
A Boutique Experience Designed Around You
At Blossoms your experience is entirely about you: private, one-to-one time, surrounded by a curated collection of stunning prom and bridal gowns. Every detail is designed to make you feel pampered, confident, and completely at ease.
Upon arrival at appointments, you will have the chance to explore dresses on the rails and pick out a couple of favourites – then discuss any likes/dislikes and previous shopping experiences etc. You will then have the chance to try on a selection of dresses and Dawn will be by your side offering guidance, styling advice, and a personal touch to help you find the dress that feels made just for you.
Bridal Appointments
Bridal appointments last two hours and offer exclusive use of the boutique for you and your chosen guests.
After having an initial chat, the we will gather your ideas and tailor each appointment to your unique bridal style.
You’ll be welcomed with a glass of bubbly while your stylist helps you explore a stunning range of gowns, all within a relaxed and luxurious atmosphere.
Once you’ve found your dress, it’s time to celebrate your “yes to the dress” moment with a photo by Blossoms’ iconic backdrop – complete with props, confetti cannons and plenty of smiles. There is no fee for bridal appointments.

Prom Dress Appointments
Prom appointments last 90 minutes and offer the same bespoke, one-to-one experience, with complimentary non-alcoholic pink lemonade served during your visit. With expert guidance and a carefully chosen range of dresses, the focus is on making the experience fun, confidence-boosting and unforgettable.

Celebrating Every ‘Yes’
Anyone who says yes to the dress receives a special Blossoms goody bag, filled with branded gifts and exclusive offers from local businesses – including florists, beauty salons and more.
There’s also a dedicated photo opportunity for every bride, featuring the classic “I said yes to the dress” sign, alongside celebratory props to mark the moment in style.
Accessories & Finishing Touches
Blossoms stocks a beautiful range of accessories, including veils, tiaras and hair pieces. These are available to purchase during open events and browsing sessions, with no fitting appointment required – perfect for adding those final details to your look.

Alterations Made Easy
Whether its tailoring the dress to give you the most comfortable and complementary fit or customising the design of your dress to make it bespoke, it is likely that you will need a level of alteration to perfect your dress, ready for your special day.
Customers are welcome to arrange their own alterations, but Blossoms can connect you with of our two trusted local seamstresses. Once your dress arrives in store, the team hand over to their recommended seamstresses who will hold fitting appointments in the comfort and relaxed atmosphere of the boutique to make the process as smooth as possible.
