The Old Hall is thought to be England’s oldest hotel and was once home to Mary Queen of Scots who famously stayed at the hall under house arrest back in 1500’s. Today the hotel is renowned for its warm hospitality, charming accommodation and for delicious, locally-sourced menu.
Reputed to be the oldest hotel in England and located amidst Buxton’s historic quarter, the hotel is opposite the famous Opera House and close to superb independent shopping, wine and cocktail bars.
