Meet the tutors in person
The great thing about the Open Day is that you get to meet the tutors before you even start your course. Get a taster for what a course will be really like and what you’ll study. Their friendly tutors will talk you through their areas of expertise and what career opportunities could be open to you upon completion of the course.
Subject areas for everyone, of all ages
School leavers and adults (19+) alike, there’s a course for everyone here. Whether you’re going straight into college from school and aren’t sure what to do next, or if you want to want to up-skill to enhance your CV, learn something new or go for a complete career change, BLC caters for everyone.
Our campuses are historic landmarks
Leek campus can trace its routes back to 1868 when the Leek School of Art was founded and Art & Design study remains very much at the heart of the college. Buxton campus in the Dome was crowned Europe’s biggest unsupported dome until 1902. At 145 meters in diameter, it’s undoubtedly spectacular.
