Esquires Coffee has opened its doors in Buxton, bringing with it a strong reputation for 100% organic and ethical coffee made from 100% Arabica beans. Their equatorial blend combines beans sourced from Peru, Sumatra and Honduras, alongside quality food and a relaxed place to pause during your visit to the town.
Founded in Canada in 1993, Esquires began as a single neighbourhood coffee shop and has grown into a globally recognised brand. Despite this growth, each store retains a strong community feel, is run by local people, and stays true to its core values: serving responsibly sourced, great-tasting coffee while supporting coffee farmers through ethical sourcing and foundations that protect the planet.
Drinks to Suit Every Moment
Alongside coffee, you’ll find a wide range of ethically sourced loose leaf teas, protein shakes, real fruit smoothies, and other drinks. There’s also almond, soya, coconut and oat milk for those who want an alternative to dairy milk.
Whether you’re after a caffeine kick, a refreshing smoothie or a comforting tea, there’s always something to enjoy – it’s also dog friendly.
Organic Coffee and Fresh Food
At Esquires, the focus is on simple, well-made food using fresh ingredients. The all-day menu covers breakfast, brunch, and lunch, with options to suit a range of tastes.

This responsibility also extends to stores themselves. Esquires Coffee uses fully compostable and 100% recyclable cups, takeaway boxes, bags and serviettes all recyclable. Reclaimed wood is also used in store design, and LED lighting is installed to reduce energy use, helping cut waster while maintaining a high-quality customer experience.
