Pavilion Tea Rooms: Currently closed.

The Ice Cream Parlour: Open daily offering a takeaway service with ice creams, hot/cold drinks and snacks 9.30am – 5pm.

Pavilion Kitchen: Open daily 10am – 4pm, offering a takeaway service serving pizzas, hot/cold drinks, hot and cold snacks and a selection of cakes.

Gallery in the Gardens: Open daily 9.30am – 5pm, access via the main doors on the promenade.

Forest Gin, The Little Shop and Forest Gin Garden: (in the retail arcade), access via the main doors on the promenade, Monday – Thursday 9.30am – 5pm / Friday & Saturday 9.30am – 8pm / Sunday 9.30am – 5pm.

Coffee Van offering the most delicious and refined fresh coffee, open from 9am most days.

Miniature Train: Open Saturdays and Sundays from 11am , weather permitting.

Boats on Boating Lake: Open Saturdays and Sundays from 11am, (from 12pm on Thursdays and Sundays), weather permitting.

Lakeside Kiosk Open Saturdays and Sundays from 10.30am.

Kinders Garden Little Shop of Flowers: Open daily 10am – 4pm, located at the lower end of the Conservatory, next to Buxton Opera House

Conservatory: Open daily 10am – 4pm, free entry, the fish are waiting to say hello!

Public toilets: The Car Park toilets open daily 8am – 6pm. Main building toilets are open daily from 9.30am.

Dating back to 1871, nestled in 23 acres of gardens with water features, lakes and miniature railway.

Pavilion Kitchen offers casual dining, ideal for families including light snacks, freshly made pizza, hot and cold drinks, ice-cream and more.

Ice Cream Parlour offers more than 24 flavours of ice cream!

Outdoor seating area with picnic tables.

Gallery in the Gardens (located in the Gift Boutique) showcases 40 local artist’s works and members of High Peak Artists group.

Boating Lake with rowing boats and pedalos. Check their website for the latest opening times and prices.

Tourist Information is now available at the Buxton Visitor Centre in the The Pump Room, near The Crescent, where knowledgable staff can offer local tourist information about Buxton, the High Peak and Peak District area.

There is a year round programme of events of markets, fairs and children’s activities as well as special events during Easter, summer and at Christmas.

Parking is available on site at the 270 space parking bay located on the corner of St. John’s Road and Burlington Road. Please note that the under section of the car park closes and is locked between the hours of 6:00pm and 8:00am. Cars wishing to be released after 6pm and before 8am will incur a charge. There are eight disabled car parking bays on the ground level of the car park.

Coach parking: Pavilion Gardens allows coaches to drop their passengers off on the Promenade by prior arrangement. Coach parking is available on Burlington Road (SK17 9AY). Coaches can also park on the Promenade provided that they have arranged this prior to visiting. Additionally the Sylvan Coach park is situated off the roundabout at the intersection of the A6/A53. Antique & Collectors Fair

The popular two day fair at the Pavilion Gardens is back in the Octagon Hall with a wide range of quality stalls to fill the room. If you are looking to add to you home, garden, wardrobe or collection it’s the place to visit.

When: Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th September 2021 Times: 9am – 4:30pm on Saturdays and 9am – 4pm on Sundays

Entry / Cost: Adults £2.50, Concessions £2, accompanied children free

Sunday Bazaar

The Bazaars incorporate an impressive and eclectic mix of market stalls and take place in the fabulous Octagon Hall. Some of the products you can expect to find are jewellery and handmade fashion accessories, plants and gardening products, award winning painters and photographers and books.

When: 19th September 2021, 10am – 4.30pm

The Grand Charity Bazaar, Autumn Fair and Environment Awareness Day 2021

This fabulous event is organised by the Rotary Club of Buxton.

Toy Fair

The long-running Toy Fair is held in the Octagon Hall, a part of the Victorian Pavilion Gardens complex. The Buxton Toy Collectors Fair sees the historic Pavilion Gardens packed full with 150 stalls selling all kinds of toys, trains and models.

The dealers who take stalls at the show travel from all over the country and bring with them a huge selection of new and old collectable’s to sell. Prices start from just £1 and can run up to several hundred pounds for the very rarest items.

Collectors of die-cast models can find plenty of variety at Buxton. D.M. Promotional Models, Dalesman Die-cast and others all offer a huge selection of Corgi, Vanguards, Tekno, EFE, Lledo, Minichamps and other die-cast models – with many at bargain prices.

When: 26th September 2021, 10.30am – 3.00pm

Entry / Cost: Adults £3, Senior Citizens £2.50, Children £1 – (under 5s free), (Early Entry from 8am – £6)

The Arts and Crafts Fair will incorporate an impressive mix of handmade woodwork, jewellery, gifts, artwork and ceramics in the stunning Octagon Hall.

This weekend we are excited to see the return of some of our Artist & Designers showing their fabulous work.

When: 2nd & 3rd October 2021, 10.30am – 4.30pm

Great Peak District Fair and Beer Festival

This great event celebrates everything that is good in the Peak District with over wide variety of exhibitors and stallholders selling products and produce created, crafted, handmade or hand reared within the Peak District.

Taste the delights of Pavilion Gardens, Buxton Beer Festival and try award winning cask ales from around the region.

Fabulous selection of stalls in the Octagon Hall, hot food & drink, *children’s rides, *miniature train rides and *boats on the lake.

Weekend Bazaar and Buxton Christmas Lights Switch-On

Great for Christmas shoppers with over 40 Christmas stalls selling fabulous selection of seasonal food & drink, Christmas gifts, decorations, hand crafted jewellery and crafts. Hot festive food and drink available indoors and outdoors on the Promenade, Santa’s Grotto and children’s rides.

For the first time ever at this event Buxton will see stalls, rides, hot food and live music throughout the Crescent and Spring Gardens with a real reindeer!

When: Saturday 20th November Octagon Hall stalls open from 10am – 7pm
Food and Drink stands on the Promenade from 2pm – 8pm
(Pavilion Gardens Lights Switch-On 6.30pm followed by the Crescent Tree Lights Switch on at 7pm with the Lantern Parade on the same date too. ) / Sunday 21st November Octagon Hall stalls open from 10am – 4.30pm
