Buxton Museum workshop programme makes a welcome return

Buxton Museum workshop

Back in February 2020, Buxton Museum and Art Gallery launched their new paid workshop programme which was proved to be a roaring success with most of the upcoming spring and summer workshops selling out. Subsequently the pandemic quickly took hold and the majority of the sessions had to be cancelled. But now they’re back! And the programme of events has expanded to cover a truly broad area of creativity.

With many sessions taking place at the museum or on location at Dove Valley Centre and artists’ studios, you can join professional artists as they reveal their secrets. Learn new techniques and enhance your artist skills with some of the Peak District’s top artists. The workshops offer a variety of ways to get hands on experience and meet others in a creative environment.

The following programme of workshops can be booked online by following the link on each listing. You can also call Buxton Museum and Art Gallery on 01629 533540 to book your place over phone. Prices vary across the workshops. The museum do offer a cancellation policy and offer a full refund on cancellations up to 24 hours BEFORE the event. Cancellations within 24 hours of the event are non-refundable.
