Opening Times: 11.30am – 4pm most days (some days this may change, please check their website for daily updates).

Entry / Cost: £1.50 per person, children 3 years and under go free (2 circuits of the track)

COVID-19 Information for visitors:

  • Screens are now fitted to each seating area within the train and all areas on the train are being given enhanced sanitisation and cleaning.
  • Each seating area will be allocated to just one household.
  • Hand sanitising station has been installed where passengers board the train.

Enjoy lovely views of these ornamental Victorian, Grade II listed, Heritage Green Flag, award winning gardens.

Perfect for all the family the train takes you on gentle ride round the gardens and past the duck pond – a visit to Buxton isn’t complete without riding the Pavilion Gardens miniature train!

The Pavilion Gardens is an ideal place for all the family with various things to do and see across the complex: café, Gallery in the Gardens featuring varied art work by High Peak Artists, events happening throughout the year and children’s outdoor playgrounds in the park.
