Beer District in Buxton will host gin tasting days this summer and their ever popular evening social events return this month. The expanding range of spirits on offer in the shop include a wide range of artisan gins and spirits and a number of events in the shop are planned for 2018.
The tasting events are perfect for gin novices and fans alike with plenty of chat, lots of gin and a few tales to be told 🙂
The next event happens on the 22nd June when Beer District opens up for the evening where the shop becomes a bar! From 4pm – 10pm they will be serving from a choice of 300+ beers and 25+gins. It’s free entry and there’s seating inside and outside (weather permitting) as well as tasty snacks on offer too.
The hugely popular Sir Robin of Locksley Gin from Sheffield visited the specialist beer and spirit retailer earlier this month when Founder and Head Distiller John Cherry stopped made G&T’s for customers and offered advice on how to get the most out of flavours. Free tasting samples were enjoyed by customers.
Future gin tasting days currently in the pipeline include Buxton Distillery, Tappers Gin, Malfy Gin, 3 Pugs and Zymurgorium (including the extremely popular Sweet Violet Gin Liqueur) – further details will be announced online and via social media soon.
Beer District now stock at least five gins made right here in the Peak District as well as artisan gins and spirits from distilleries across the UK.
