Crich Tramway Village’s ever popular Steampunk weekend, in conjunction with Steampunks Always Welcome – Lincoln, is set to return for two amazing days on 9th and 10th September 2023.
Grab your goggles and dust off your cogs and gears as Victorian romanticism meets modern technology at this day out with a difference!
Enjoy family fun with fire eating displays, tea duelling, hula hoopers and more.
With a backdrop of the Victorian era alongside science fiction fun/fantasy technology and industrial steam-powered machinery of the 19th century, the event is open each day from 10am – 5pm.
Dress as a Steampunk for discounted admission rate
You can obtain discounted day admission rates if you dress as a Steampunk, which are: adults and seniors: £15 and children (aged 4 -15): £10. (These discounted tickets do not offer the free return ticket within 12 months.)
Entertainment for all the family throughout both days
Kids can enjoy the Balloon Modeller and Face Painter on both days 11am – 1pm and 2pm – 4pm.
Exhibitors will also be selling Steampunk merchandise and memorabilia with stalls around the village.
Enjoy music on the bandstand from Daisy Roots and Steve Bliss One Man Band.
Visitors will also be able to enjoy unlimited rides on the vintage trams each day, taking you out into the Derbyshire countryside offering breathtaking views of the surrounding Derwent Valley.
A great day for anyone interested in Steampunk, Victoriana, engineering and local history! If you need a breather, stretch your legs on the Woodland Walk sculpture trail and Rita’s Tea Rooms and the Red Lion Pub will be open as usual serving refreshments.

Tram Weekend
If you’ve never been to Crich Tramway Village, or, you want to take time to explore as many of the wonderful vintage trams as possible, this is the ideal opportunity! A whole weekend will be devoted to the trams with when most of their operational vehicles will be running.
Taking place on 16th and 17th September 2023, (10am – 5pm each day), this is a great chance to ride on different trams and find out more about our their superb collection and fascinating history.

Standard entry / 12 month return tickets (T&C’s apply): Adults: £22, Seniors (60+) £19.50, Children (aged 4 – 15) £14, Family (2 adults & up to 3 children) £49.50. Tickets can be purchased when you visit or booked in advance online via their website.
