High Peak Buses have announced major changes to bus services across their network with several well known routes suspended and many reduced. The drastic changes prompted High Peak MP Robert Largan to contact the bus company operators Centrebus with his concerns.
The service changes announced come into force from Wednesday 27th January.
“The lack of notice has made this even more difficult , with people having little time to make any alternative arrangements or to inform their employer”, said MP Robert Largan in a letter sent to the operators on Monday this week.
“Whilst I realise this is a very difficult time for bus operators, given the pandemic and the impact this is undoubtedly having on your staff, this action seems extreme and it will have a serious negative impact on the lives of a huge number of my constituents”, said Largan.
The latest update to the change in timetables was published on Tuesday 26th January at 4.30pm. Go to highpeakbuses.com/service-changes
