There’s a special horror movie weekend over halloween, beginning on Friday at the Olde Sun Inn…pop down to see a selection of classic horror movies including Nosferatu, Bride of Frankenstein, the Thing, the Blob and many more….!

Come along to a Halloween themed Indigo Nights. An evening of live entertainment featuring bands, a bar serving soft drinks and lots of fun. The confirmed headlining band is King of Thieves from Buxton Community School. Other bands to be confirmed, please check our website for details. For ages 13 to 17 only.

Join Clubbercise Buxton’s Halloween UV Bash! All welcome – whether you’ve been before or its your first time! There will be tricks, treats, UV, prizes for the best dressed and some ghoulish tracks.  For those who haven’t been to Clubbercise yet they use easy-to-follow dance fitness routines and set them to epic club anthems from the 90’s to today with glow sticks & disco lights in a darkened room! Not just duff duff, there’s some serious sing-along potential too! Awesome atmosphere with a great cardio and toning workout – and all in a Halloween theme for this special spooky Clubbercise session.

Buxton Community School Sports Centre, Temple Road, SK17 9BB | 31st October 2016, 8pm – 9pm

Entry / Cost: The 60 minute classes is £5, you will need the Clubbercise branded multi-function and wrist-strapped glow sticks to participate in the class too. They are also £5 but are yours to keep and they have replaceable batteries too! No other glowsticks will be able to be used.



Celebrate the spookiest night of the year with local band Smugglers Run as they entertain you with a night of rock. Lots of decorations and everyone is encouraged to dress up – although its optional.

For half term week the cavern is spookily illuminated with Jack O Lantern pumpkin heads with treats for children who can find all the spooky faces hidden amongst the stalagmites. Join the pumpkin head hunt in the cavern and see how many scary pumpkin faces you can spot amongst the stalagmites and get a treat from their spooky cave ghouls (guides)! The cavern will be transforming itself for a family friendly and not too scary tour of the cavern! The cavern is open every day from 9.30am to 5pm with tours starting every 20 minutes.
