Buxton and Leek College launches Christmas Fair competitions for all the family

With the festive season fast approaching, Buxton & Leek College apprenticeship team have launched their annual ‘Christmas Fair 2021’, packed full of competitions for all the community to enter, and great prizes up for grabs. 

The BLC Christmas Fair is quickly becoming a festive tradition for local crafters to get creative, and those with an abundance of Christmas spirit to show their sparkle in the run-up to Christmas.

Competitions are completely free to enter and there are categories for all ages. This year’s competitions include:

• Best Christmas Jumper, or Festive Outfit
• Best Festive Pet Photo
• Design a Christmas decoration to go on their BLC tree
• Best Festive Hair, Nails and Makeup
• Best Festive Baking

Prizes up for grabs include a FREE spa day for two people at The Buxton Crescent Health Spa Hotel, a signed book, a selection of hair & makeup products and more prizes soon to be announced.

Kath Ferns, BLC, Recruitment Coordinator and one of the organisers of the Christmas Fair, said:

“Last year the community really got behind the Christmas Fair and we were overwhelmed by the number of competition entries that came in. The level of skill and creativity that we have in our local community is really impressive and we can’t wait to see everyone’s designs again, this year. “

The closing date for all entries will be midnight on Sunday 5^th December 2021, with judging and contacting all winners taking place shortly afterwards.
