Beside the Seaside 2018 at Crich Tramway Village
Visitors won’t have to travel to the coast to have all the fun of the fair as Crich Tramway Village bring the British seaside inland to the Peak District for nine days of fun from 26th May to Sunday 3rd June.
Beside the Seaside will see the village transformed into a family-themed seaside resort with a beach area complete with deck chairs and buckets and spades for children to build their own sandcastles. Howard’s Fun Fair will give visitors the chance to ride on the steam gallopers, a big wheel and the Austin Car Ride as well as the Gavioli Organ and Showman’s Stream Engine – on every day.
Be amused by Prof. Jon’s “Flea” Circus and laugh at the traditional Punch and Judy Shows!
Crich Brass will be performing on the Bandstand at Beside the Seaside and a balloon modeller, face painter and craft activities will entertain the children – see daily programme for details.
And don’t forget – to visit the beach by the bandstand! Bring your buckets and and spades to build a sandcastle. Have your photo taken through the saucy postcard photo board 🙂
Don’t miss these exciting experiences, along with unlimited rides on the “Seaside” trams out into the open countryside.
The children will love the fantastic outdoor adventure playground and indoor play areas, and there are also fascinating exhibitions and a woodland park and sculpture trail, so there’s something to keep all the family entertained.
