Voting has opened for the UK’s Most Welcoming Theatre Award 2017 in association with Smooth Radio and Buxton Opera House is once again taking part with the hope of winning for the third time.

Buxton Opera House & Pavilion Arts Centre is out to defend their award for the ‘Most Welcoming Theatre in the East Midlands’ winning one of the most coveted industry accolades in the theatre business for the last two years running.

It was a testament to the tremendous community support from audiences, staff, volunteers and fans across the UK that the prize was awarded both in 2015 and 2016, beating off stiff competition from many worthy rivals!
