Watch: Peak Resort drone flyover shows development taking shape as works begins on £400m campus

Machines have rolled on site to begin work on a new type of UK resort destination integrating leisure, health, sport and education that will operate 365 days a year.

Peak Resort is being built on the Birchall Estate, a 300-acre former opencast site, at Unstone, Chesterfield and will create 1,300 jobs.

Drone footage recently filmed by the development company shows the huge scale of the project, as it was announced work began earlier this month:
