Go Ape is the UK’s leading treetop forest adventure – have fun and get in touch with your inner Tarzan! Go Ape Buxton is built high in the hilltops of the Peak District, offering breathtaking views and big adventure.
Featuring one of their biggest Tarzan Swing drops, you’ll leap off the platform into stomach-turning free fall before being swung into their giant cargo net.
Buxton’s one of Go Ape’s highest courses ever built. Climb, leap and zip through the tree tops to soak in amazing views of the Georgian spa town and the sprawling countryside below.
Whether you’re looking for the ultimate, adrenaline-filled trail or preferring a gentler passageway through the trees, Go Ape have got all high-level bases covered with the Pannjarve Bridge, a Net Bridge and a tricky Jungle Crossing. Either way, if you’re 10 years and over the stunning views are yours for the taking as you climb, leap and zip through the trees.
NEW for 2024! Treetop Paintball:Â At Go Ape, they’re always looking for ways to challenge, surprise and excite. That’s why they’re taking their latest experience to new heights, combining two classic outdoor experiences to make the ultimate adventure. It will certainly have you ducking and weaving throughout the forest canopy. This one’s not for the feint-hearted. The high ropes experiences have been turned into a knee-knocking battlefield. Your Go Ape adventure will take around 2-3 hours. At Buxton, the highest platform is 11.4m and the longest zip is 159m.
One participating adult can supervise up to two children ages 10 to 15 years while on the course.

Go Ape Buxton is in walking distance of the town and you’ll also find the two-million-year-old natural limestone cave Poole’s Cavern located just a stride away across the car park. As one of Derbyshire’s best loved show-caves, the unique limestone underground chambers feature spectacular stalactites and stalagmites as well as a gift shop and Café in the Cavern for snacks, breakfast and light lunches. Grin Low Woods and Buxton Country Park is located right behind Go Ape Buxton so if you want to continue exploring the area, take a walk to the summit at 1,434ft above sea level where you’ll find one of Buxton’s most famous landmarks Solomon’s Temple and you’ll be rewarded with stunning 360° views of the surrounding Peak District.
