Eyre Arms, Calver

When: 3rd November 2023, gates open 5.30pm, bonfire lit 6.30pm, fireworks 7pm

Where: The Eyre Arms, Calver, Chesterfield Road, Hope Valley, S32 3XH

Entry / Cost: Pre brought tickets (available from locals shops, pubs and Curbar primary school): Adults £3, Child £3 (aged 5 & over), Under 5s Free. Tickets on the gate (Subject to availability): Adults £5, Child £5 (aged 5 & over), Under 5s Free.

Fireworks in Chesterfield *CANCELLED*

Unfortunately, due to poor ground conditions following a period of bad weather, this event has been cancelled for safety reasons. UPDATE 1/11/23.

When: 3rd November 2023, from 4.30pm – 9pm, display starts at 7pm

Where: Stand Road Park, Whittington Moor, Chesterfield

Entry / Cost: £2 on the gate, free for children under five. Visitors are asked to have the exact money ready as change cannot be given. No advance booking.

Chesterfield is set to be lit up as Chesterfield Borough Council’s annual fireworks extravaganza returns.

The fireworks display will begin at the family-friendly time of 7pm and there will also be a selection of fairground rides and food vendors. There will be live entertainment for crowds to enjoy both before and after the fireworks.

Tutbury Castle Bonfire Night – Vikings and Firework Spectacular!

When: 3rd & 4th November 2023, gates open at 5.30pm, entertainment throughout the evening including ‘viking’ funeral’, fireworks approximately 8pm.

Where: Tutbury Castle, Castle St, Burton upon Trent, Tutbury, Staffordshire, DE13 9JF

Not in Derbyshire or the Peak District, but this isn’t very far from Buxton and it’s always a bonfire event with a difference so we wanted to include it…

Voted as one of the best firework displays in the UK, Tutbury Castle is opening its doors again for two nights of fireworks. By popular demand, the Vikings will be back with a ferocious combat followed by a Viking ‘funeral’.

This terrifying group always attracts large numbers and there will be a living history camp and lots to see and do for the whole family.

There will also be entertainment from Code Red fire performers throughout the evening.

The tearoom will be open for hot and cold refreshments along with the bar.

Edale Bonfire and Fireworks Display

When: 4th November 2023, gates 5.30pm, fire lit 6pm & fireworks 7pm.

Where: The Whitworth, Station Road, Matlock

Entry / Cost: Adults £5, children £2

The Edale bonfire has been a long standing fixture in the village calendar and is a very popular event with locals and visitors alike. The bonfire is usually well fuelled with local tree cuttings and timber waste and the professionally run display is a sight to behold with the spectacular backdrop of the Edale valley (not to mention the noise reverberating around the hills).

The Whitworth, Matlock – Fireworks Night with live music and inflatables

When: 4th November 2023, gates open 5pm, fireworks 7pm

Where: The Whitworth, Station Road, Matlock

Entry / Cost: Advance tickets adult £7.50, under 16s £5, Family ticket £22. All tickets will be £8.50 on the door.

Eyam Bonfire

When: 4th November 2023, from 5.30pm, Bonfire lit at 6.30pm, torchlit procession leaves the square at 6.15pm

Where: Eyam Village Square, Derbyshire

Entry / Cost: Adults £8 and Children £4, under 2s go free. Tickets on sale from Eyam Shops: The Post Office, The Miners’ Arms, Bloom, and also Calver Spar. Cash only please.

Come and celebrate the burning of the infamous Rat and help raise invaluable funds for Eyam School!

The evening starts with entertainment in the village square from 5.30pm. The candlelit, music-led procession leaves the square at 6.15pm carrying the Eyam Rat, hand crafted by the school children out of willow, depicting the Eyam story of the plague of 1665.

Walk through the village to the chants of ‘Burn The Rat’, where it is finally placed and lit on the huge bonfire and enjoy a fabulous firework display. A wide selection of food is served to include locally sourced farmhouse sausage hotdogs, jacket potatoes with homemade chilli or baked beans & cheese, Winter vegetable soup, roast chestnuts, parkin, bags of homemade bonfire toffee, locally brewed beer and cider, home brewed mulled wine, hot drinks and cold drinks.

All funds raised go to Eyam School PTFA and local community projects so please do come along to support us and join in the fun!‎

Bonfire at Thornbridge Hall *SOLD OUT*

When: 4th November 2023, 6pm – 9pm

Where: Thornbridge Hall, Bakewell, England, DE45 1NZ

Entry / Cost: Adults (17yrs+) – £10 Includes a Jacket potato with Chilli
Children (3-16yrs) – £5 Includes a Jacket with cheese & beans
Under 3s – FREE
All tickets include a giant marshmallow for toasting and a sparkler

Come and take a cosy seat by a firepit, twirl a sparkler, toast a marshmallow or two and enjoy a warming mulled wine or hot chocolate from the cafe. There won’t be any fireworks so bring your furry family members too… the bar will also be open!

This event promises to be a fun autumnal evening for all the family to enjoy.

Tickets include a jacket potato & chilli of for kids a jacket with cheese and beans, marshmallows for toasting and a sparkler for each person.
Vegan and gluten-free options available, please state when booking any dietary requirements.

Glossop Round Table Bonfire and Fireworks

When: 4th November 2023, opens at 4pm, bonfire lit at 6pm

Where: Manor Park, Manor Park Road, Glossop SK13 7SH

Entry / Cost: Advance/pre-sale tickets – (booked online) Adults £8 (+67p booking fee), Family ticket £18 (£1.51 booking fee), Concession – child under 3-16 yrs/student/senior £4 (+34p booking fee).

The Glossop Bonfire is back with a Bang! With a packed evening of fireworks, entertainment and music.

Fireworks Spectacular at Conkers

When: 4th & 5th November 2023, doors open 5pm, show starts at 7.30pm

Where: Conkers, Rawdon Road (B586), Moira, Nr Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Derbyshire DE12 6GA

Entry / Cost: Standard ticket prices – Adults £11.50, children £9 (0 – 16 years), Family ticket £40 (2 adults and 2 children), £2 under 2s – please book your tickets online.  Card payments are accepted indoors.

With two nights of dazzling fireworks displays, along with laser dancers, this is an event you won’t want to miss. And if you’re worried about dinner, don’t be – the varied Food Market Menu has got you covered.

So gather your loved ones and head on over to the best Fireworks Display with Laser Dancers and Laser Show in The National Forest!

Matlock Rugby Club Bonfire and Fireworks Extravaganza

When: NEW DATE (postponed from 4th November): 11th November 2023, gates open at 5pm, bonfire lit at 6.30pm, kids firework display at 7pm, main display at 7.45pm. Fair rides open 5pm till late. *ALL EXISTING TICKETS ARE VALID FOR THE NEW DATE*

Buxton Fireworks Spectacular at Buxton Cricket Ground

When: 5th November 2023, Gates open 4pm

Where: Buxton Cricket Ground, Park Road

Entry / Cost: Save money on advance tickets: Adult £7.50, Child £3.50 (under 13) and a family (2 adults and 2 children) ticket £18. On the gate tickets will also be available at a slightly higher price than pre-booked tickets.

One of the High Peak’s biggest displays! Bigger and better than ever before, with more fairground rides and a happy hour from 4pm – 5pm when all fairground rides, including adults ones with be just £2 during the happy hour.

There will be two firework displays, various hot food vendors, sweets and candy floss, music, bars, family entertainment and a fairground for all ages.

Fireworks at The Kedleston Country House *SOLD OUT*

When: 4th & 5th November 2023, from 7pm – 10.30pm

Where: Kedleston Country House

Entry / Cost: Adult £7 + £0.50 Booking Fee, Child £5 + £0.50 Booking Fee, Family Ticket (2x adults + 2 children) £22 + £0.50 Booking Fee.

The skies will be lighting up at The Kedleston Country House not only on Saturday 5th November 2022 but also Friday 4th November 2022 for their annual fireworks display.
The team from Crescendo Fireworks will be putting on a performance which will be a perfect night out for all of the family:
– Doors Open: 7.00pm
– Fireworks: 8.30pm
– Outdoor street food vendors & bar
– Parking is available but very limited
