Visitors won’t have to travel to the coast to have all the fun of the fair as Crich Tramway Village bring the British seaside inland to the Peak District on Saturday 27th May to Sunday 4th June.
Beside the Seaside will see the village transformed into a family-themed seaside resort with a beach area complete with deck chairs and buckets and spades for children to build their own sandcastles. Howards Fun Fair will be with there all week which will give visitors a chance to ride on the steam gallopers, a big wheel, an Austin car ride and a Gavioli Organ.
Be amused by Prof. Jon’s “Flea” Circus, laugh at the traditional Punch & Judy and be amazed by Scoop Magician!
Crich Brass will be performing on the Bandstand at Beside the Seaside and a balloon modeller and a face painter will entertain the children – see daily programme for details.
Don’t miss these exciting experiences, along with unlimited rides on the “Seaside” trams out into the open countryside.
The children will love the fantastic new outdoor adventure playground and indoor play areas, and there are also fascinating exhibitions and a woodland park and sculpture trail, so there’s something to keep all the family entertained.
Standard admission tickets are required for the Beside the Seaside event, or, if you have already purchased a 12-month ticket, you can use that for a free return and visit as many days of the event as you wish. For more information and to book online, go to: tramway.co.uk/tickets
